New Designer Window Shades
Window shades play a crucial role in the style and feel of a home’s interior because they both control natural light and occupy very visually dominant positions at eye-level in most rooms. At Today’s Window Fashions, we believe that the careful addition of window shades with high-end of style and usability can refresh a room’s ambiance and revive dull décor. In the Design Studio™ collection by Hunter Douglas, clients with an eye toward artistic design will now find several new lines of designer fabrics by three visual and textile artists from across the US: Marcie Bronkar, Rebecca Atwood, and Seema Krish. Their work creates innovative fabrics for lines of new designer window shades and more.
- Marcie Bronkar: Historical prints come alive under the skillful hand and painter’s eye of Marcie Bronkar. Her collection of seven fabric lines for the Design Studio™ collection is full of strong print work and a timeless sense of style and includes two embroideries.
- Rebecca Atwood: Atwood is best known for her intuitive use of color and pattern, and the way she makes prints come to life using unique watercolor or hand-stamping techniques. The Atwood collection of designer fabrics includes eight unique prints with a subtle nature motif that speaks to the artist’s childhood on Cape Cod.
- Seema Krish: Enjoy fabulous, worldly design by Krish who drew inspiration for her seven-line fabric collections from her years of extensive travels and the beauty she sees in the world around her. Krish’s fabrics have a bold color and mesmerizing use of repeating patterns and geometric shapes.
- Design Studio™ Drapery: Full, flowing, and demanding of attention with their dramatic design aesthetic, drapery offers a bold palette for new designer window shades that gives movement and panache to Design Studio™ fabrics.
- Design Studio™ Side Panels: Side panels are a powerful framing tool in interior design.
